Check whether the frozen food has defrosted. Make sure that the freezer and refrigerator doors are properly closed. If the rubber door gaskets are damaged, check and replace them with new ones. Once the refrigerator is working normally again, restart it by pressing the “System Check” button and observe for potential problems in the appliance system. Now try to keep the fridge and freezer doors closed for as long as possible to give the refrigeration system the time it needs to reach the proper temperature in both compartments.

Check that the appliance power cord is properly connected to the power outlet. Replace the power cord with a new one as soon as you notice it is damaged. Check whether the food in the freezer and refrigerator compartments has spoiled. If the food is spoiled, dispose of it. Finally, restart the appliance by pressing the “System check” button and then check if any other problems appear.

Remove the ice cube tray. Check whether the ice tray is filled with water. If not, make sure that the water supply to the ice maker is not blocked. We also advise you to turn off the ice maker unit, just in case you have turned off the water tap. After that, press the “System check” button to restart the refrigerator. Watch to see if any new faults appear in the system. If the CI code continues to appear, it is necessary to replace the ice maker unit. Request Service

More than 48 hours have passed since the last defrosting of the refrigerator defrosting system. After disconnecting the refrigerator from the mains, reconnect any wires that have come loose, check the cables leading to the defrost system unit, and reconnect them. Replace the wire if it has been seriously damaged. The defrost heater of the refrigerator should also be checked, and a new one should be installed instead of the broken one. However, keep in mind that the refrigerator may operate and skip the required defrost cycle in some situations, such as when the ambient temperature is below 55°F. If everything is working properly, press the “System Check” button to restart the refrigerator. Request Service
