- Check the power cord connection.
- The circuit breaker should be reset.

- A repair service is necessary if the dryer is still not heating at this point.
nP
- Verify the power cord connection. Verify that the power line is firmly inserted into a grounded outlet that matches the dryer’s 240V rating plate.
- Turn the circuit breaker back on. Turn off the dryer’s circuit breaker from the house’s main switch for at least 10 seconds to eliminate the power surge inside the switch.
- Examine a household outlet. If the error is visible, a certified electrician may need to inspect the home’s outlet to make sure that the dryer is receiving the proper voltage.
- At this point, if the dryer is still not heating, it needs to be repaired.

NOTE: D80 on gas dryers may indicate that an insufficient amount of gas is being supplied to the appliance.
- Check for lint build-up in the rear exhaust duct, as it can increase the drying time in the dryer.
- Check if the hood is damaged.
- A broken or crushed hood will also obstruct the airflow. If possible, ensure the exhaust pipe is not damaged, crushed, kinked or otherwise damaged.
- Inspect for crushed duct
- Avoid long runs or runs with multiple elbows or bends.
- Excessive or pinched transition duct
- Too many elbows can also cause prolonged drying.
- The ductwork’s length.
- Check the exterior of the house when the machine is running to determine whether exhaust air is blowing outdoors since blockages can happen when the ductwork is too long or has too many bends and are difficult to locate. Contact a nearby vent cleaning business to clean the vent.
