Please check the fan at the rear of the freezer if the code appears on the display. The task of the fan is to blow air in the direction of the ice maker. In some cases, the problem can be solved by unplugging the refrigerator for about 5 minutes and then plugging it back in. If the problem reappears, it indicates that the fan is not working. This can be caused by the accumulation of ice, which prevents the rotation. In this situation, general defrosting should work; unplug the fridge for a day or two and let the ice melt completely.

However, do not rush to buy a new heater, as there may be a problem with the control board. If this is not the case, immediately check the defrost heater. Remove all containers and baskets from the refrigerator and unplug it. The front panel of the freezer can be removed using a flat-blade screwdriver. Inspect the evaporator and defrost the heater coils. Remove the heater with extreme care. Do not put pressure on the coils! Turn on the refrigerator and replace the heater. Request Service

This may be caused by poor wiring and/or loose connections. Check the main control board and CON6 connector after removing the cover. Check the wiring harness at the top of the left door of the refrigerator to make sure there are no wiring problems. Check the dispenser and its wiring harness connections if there are no problems. - Disconnect the freezer temperature sensor from the wiring harness and unplug the refrigerator.
- Use a multimeter to determine the resistance of the sensor. If the sensor temperature is 0 degrees, the instrument should show 84,925 ohms, 32,566 ohms and 11,304 ohms, respectively (room temperature). If the resistance is less than 10 ohms, replace the sensor.
- Reconnect the temperature sensor and measure the resistance across the freezer temperature sensor wires that are connected to the electronic control board (gray/white wires on connector J4A) to see if the meter shows the correct resistance across the sensor. Measure the resistance on the gray and white wires after disconnecting the J4A connector from the control board.
- The resistance reading on the meter should match the temperature sensor reading. If the sensor resistance is correctly measured by the meter through the cables, then the electronic control board probably needs to be replaced because the sensor resistance is not detected accurately. If the meter registers resistance of less than 10 ohms on the sensor wires, find and fix the problem with the sensor wiring.

With the refrigerator unplugged, check the evaporator fan wiring harness connection in the freezer compartment. If the plug of the wiring harness is loose, reconnect it. Check that the wiring harness in the freezer is properly connected by checking the evaporator fan wiring connections to the electronic control board (brown/white, blue/white and yellow/white wires on J4A and red/white wires on J4B). If the electrical connections are good, the evaporator fan must be replaced. If the problem persists, the electronic control board should be replaced. Request Service

If the wire harness for the freezer thermistor is loose, unplug the refrigerator and reattach it. If the wire harness is harmed, replace it. Replace the freezer compartment thermistor if the wiring harness is functioning properly. Request Service
CF on the freezer display
Check the connection of the wiring harness on the main control board and the user interface control panel by disconnecting the refrigerator from the mains. Reconnect all exposed cables. Replace the user interface control unit if the wiring harness connections are secure. If the problem persists, the main control board must be replaced. Request Service
