If the thermostat is broken, you must choose between fixing it yourself or hiring a fridge repair service. The replacement of the thermostat will require just a few minutes and some simple hand tools if you feel comfortable doing it. Replacing the thermostat in your refrigerator is a fairly straightforward task. Before you look for a new thermostat, find out the model number of your refrigerator, which can usually be found in the manual or on the back or inside of the appliance.
- To avoid putting yourself at risk, unplug your refrigerator from the wall socket before beginning.
- Find the thermostat
- Once the thermostat has been located, carefully remove the protective panel covering it by loosening the screws or releasing the holding clips. Set the cover aside.
- Using pliers, gradually disconnect the two wire connectors of the thermostat from the spade or pin terminals. The thermostat can then be removed by unscrewing the retaining screw or clips holding it in place.
- After removing the old thermostat, attach the new one to the evaporator tube and connect the wires to the terminals. Replace the panel cover that you removed earlier by removing it. After that, you can restart the refrigerator and test the thermostat by adjusting the temperature dial.

Inspect the water filling tube. Check if there are any ice cubes in the ice cube tray. If there are no ice cubes or very small ones, look for problems in the water filling system. Check if the water fill tube and the fill cup area on the back of the ice maker are not frozen. Make sure that no foreign objects are blocking the water from flowing into the fill cup. If there is no obvious source of ice buildup, then the inlet valve, tubing, or low water pressure should be the culprit. Check the outlet tube from the fill valve to the ice maker fill tube for any signs of restriction and replace it if necessary. Request Service

Called this company to do some work on my dishwasher in my house they came in a timely fashion. They tried there best to repair my dishwasher but they couldn’t so I had to end up buying a new one and they refunded me my money. Great customer service I would highly recommend this company.
