The temperature sensor in the refrigerator has failed

Unplug the refrigerator’s power cord and locate the temperature sensor. The wire harnesses should then be disconnected. After that, use a multimeter to ensure if the sensor is still working. If there is no continuity, replace it. In case you don’t have a multimeter, you may either replace the sensor or reconnect it to see if the problem disappears.

The fridge door is open

This error code appears on the temperature display when the fridge door is open. If the door is shut, but the message still appears, then your fridge’s temperature sensor is malfunctioning. Turn off the electricity. Examine the wiring connecting the sensor and the electronic control board. If there is a problem with the wiring, it must be fixed before the OP error code is removed.

Evaporator fan is malfunctioning

Examine the connections between the evaporator fan and the control board. Check for 12VDC between the red and brown wires to the fan. Check for voltage differences between yellow and brown (depending on high or low speed). If everything is in order, replace the evaporator fan. Call a professional if the error code persists.

The defrost circuit is broken

Inspect the defrost control board, the wire harness that links the defrost control board to the timer, and the main control board to ensure that each component is operating properly. These tests will necessitate the use of a multimeter. You’ll need to repair any of those components if they’re broken.

User interface and electronic control board are incompatible

Turn off the refrigerator, look for the wire harness that links the user interface to the electronic control board, and inspect the wiring for any signs of damage. If the wire is broken, it should be replaced. If the wire isn’t damaged, you may test it with a multimeter and replace it if it’s faulty.

I was very impressed with this service. The man came a day early which was a surprise (imagine someone responding early)! I welcomed that as I was trying to do my laundry. Called superior and response was fast, visit was prompt and as per the agreed upon schedule. The technician, Ridj, was knowledgeable, polite and answered all of our questions. He left a clean work area with a good diagnosis of the problem. I would recommend superior and Ridj in particular.
