Disconnect your range from the mains and inspect the range temperature sensor wire harness for any loose connections. If it is, reconnect the proper wiring harness to where it belongs. Replace the wire harness if you discover it is broken. Utilizing a volt/ohm meter, check the resistance of the range temperature sensor. At ambient temperature (70 °F), the resistance should be 1080 ohms. Once it has changed, replace the old temperature sensor. If the resistance of the range temperature sensor shows good readings and all connections of the wiring harness to it are in good condition, it is necessary to replace the electronic control unit of the cooker.
